From Monday 1 January 2024, we will make it easy for you to see how energy-efficient your accommodation is. The energy label can be found under the heading 'general characteristics' on each accommodation page.
The energy label indicates how energy-efficient an accommodation is. This uses classes A++++ to G to allow you to see how energy-efficient the accommodation is, compared to similar accommodations. An accommodation is considered energy-efficient if, for example, it uses low-energy heating, solar panels or good insulation.
At our parks, we have assessed all accommodation with a usable area larger than 50 square metres. Accommodations with a smaller usable area were not assessed. These may include, for example, safari tents or hotel rooms. When different energy labels are issued for one accommodation type with different house numbers, we show a range on our website.
We have obtained the energy label by deploying a recognised and certified energy consultant. This person has visited all the relevant accommodations and recorded all the necessary key characteristics to determine energy efficiency.
