Fishing Regulations
- Fishing spots are assigned, you must stick to the assigned number.
- You must be in possession of a valid fishing pass. A permit is also required for the Wilhelmin Canal, which can be collected free of charge from the Guest Service in Ganvie Village upon presentation of a valid fishing pass.
- Persons under the age of 18 will only be admitted if accompanied by an adult.
- Arrival at the fishing spot is from 13:00.
- On the day of your departure, you must vacate the fishing spot before 11:00.
- Night fishing is only allowed if the campsite is also open (early/mid April to early November) and only with a reservation for a fishing spot.
- During your stay you must keep the fishing spot tidy, and it must be left tidy on departure. Any waste can be deposited in the appropriate recycling centre.
- A maximum of 2 anglers are allowed per fishing spot.
- You are allowed to fish with 1 rod, unless you have a permit for multiple rods, up to a maximum number of 3 rods.
- Campers, bungalow tents and/or caravans are not allowed on a fishing spot.
- A maximum of 1 passenger car may be parked on each fishing spot.
- The bivvy should be green or camouflaged.
- Dogs are not allowed.
- Open fire is strictly prohibited.
- The use of a radio is allowed as long as it does not disturb others.
- Inflatable boats may only be used on the large lake.
- Inflatable boats may only be propelled by an electric motor.
- A life jacket must be worn when using a boat.
- Bait boats (radiographic) may be used.
- Waders may be used (not in the boat).
- You must be in possession of a fishing net.
- You must be in possession of a large unhooking mat.
- Rod markers are allowed (no rope floating markers).
- You must be in possession of a clinic, for possible care of wounds on the fish.
- Caught fish may only be lowered during night-time (max. 8 hrs).
- Grass carp must be returned to the water immediately (do not lower).
- Inspection of material, particles, boilies and the like can and may at all times be carried out by supervisors/security personnel of or employed by Libéma.
- All guests at our park are expected to be aware of the applicable “Rules of Conduct” and are bound by them. The park management is authorised to remove anyone who does not comply with these rules or who in any other way disrupts or has disrupted the proper course of business, from the site or to deny access to the site, without refund of the rent paid. If the fishing spot is not vacated on time, it will be cleared at your expense without liability on our part. This also applies to incorrect set-up.
Carp guard
Lake Resort Beekse Bergen is aware of the danger of carp trade/robbery of fish. That is why there is active security on the grounds of Lake Resort Beekse Bergen. Possible checks on the contents of cars leaving the site are possible and will be carried out by supervision/security personnel of or employed by Libéma. If theft is detected, it will be reported to the police.
